- 4 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 6 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 cups long grain brown rice
- 5 cups chicken broth, divided
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
1. Melt butter in a saucepan, add rice and garlic, saute until golden brown.
2. Add 2 cups of chicken broth and bring to a boil.
3. Place into crock pot, with remaining 3 cups of broth.
4. Cook on high, 2 - 3 hours.
